In 2024, Gasoducto de Morelos has decided to go a step further in terms of safety for people, as we will implement the most advanced safety awareness program in the world.
It is an advanced accident prevention program. Its goal is to help people avoid making mistakes they didn’t want to make in the first place.
Safestart does not focus on specific procedures or hazards in the workplace, it is about keeping those hazards in mind and in sight, making people aware of risky situations and reflecting on them.
Safestart focuses on the state the person is in. Most accidents at home, at work and on the road are caused by poor decision-making, influenced by one or more of these states and critical errors.
The program consists of four states: haste, frustration, fatigue and complacency.
There are 4 critical errors: eyes not on task, mind not on task, entering or being in the line of fire and losing balance, traction or grip.
