DESCRIPTION
Gasoducto de Morelos is an infrastructure that resulted from the international bidding process of the “Comisión Federal de Electricidad” in 2011 to provide natural gas transportation services to the “Centro” Combined Cycle Plant.
- Our gas pipeline is 172 km long, 30" in diameter, and runs through the Mexican states of Tlaxcala, Puebla and Morelos.
- We started providing our service in 2016.
- Our project supports the growth of the electricity sector in the center of the country.

Our transportation service includes the reception of natural gas at a point in the system, its transportation through a pipeline, the measurement of the quality and quantity of the product received, and all the actions and operations necessary to deliver it to a different point in the same system. - Natural gas supply service through other technologies.

Our
Natural Gas
Natural gas is used to generate electricity, steam, in industrial processes, in commerce, at home, and also as a fuel for different means of transportation.
Natural gas is colorless and odorless. It is an environmentally friendly, economical alternative fuel whose deployment technology is at a mature and widely available stage.
It is a combustible gaseous mixture of simple hydrocarbons. It is generally found in deep subway deposits, formed by porous rock. Its main component is methane CH4.
Position 0
Located in Tlaxco, Tlaxcala. Connects to the 48″ Zempoala – Santa Ana gas pipeline, owned by CENAGAS. It consists of a telecontrolled sectioning valve, a measurement and control station (ERMyC) and a trap for receiving and sending scrubbers.
Position 3
Located in Huejotzingo, Puebla. Connects to the 30″ Minatitlán – Venta de Carpio gas pipeline, owned by CENAGAS. It consists of a telecontrolled sectioning valve and a measurement and control station (ERMyC).
Position 8-A
Located in Yecapixtla, Morelos.
It is the delivery point for our natural gas distributor client in the State of Morelos.
Position 9
Located in Yecapixtla, Morelos.
It is the delivery point through which the CFE’s Centro I Combined Cycle Power Plant is supplied, delivering up to 320 MMSCFD.
